You Can Get Windows 10 Genuine for Only $25

Windows 7 keys are getting cheaper online

Windows 10 will be offered free of charge to users of Windows 7 and 8.1, but according to some confusing statements offered by Microsoft itself, the new OS could be available at no cost for those who are running preview builds of the operating system too.

But in case you're not part of any of these categories and you just want to buy Windows 10 and use it the old way, you have basically two options: buy Windows 10 at the full price when it becomes available or buy a Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 key and benefit from the free upgrade.

Windows 10 will have the same price as Windows 8.1, so a Home license will be priced at $119.99 (100 Euro), so there's no doubt that the second option is the one that's more appealing.

And fortunately, there are hundreds of Windows 7 and 8.1 keys out there if you know where to look and prices could go as low as $25 (20 Euro) or sometimes even lower if you're hunting for a bargain.

Consumers only!

Obviously, this offer is only available for consumers, so enterprises still need to get Windows 10 the old way and get in touch with Microsoft for this.

But as far as consumers are concerned, this is undoubtedly the more affordable option and sites like eBay surely can help you find a cheap Windows 7 product key.

And yet, keep in mind that this requires additional work because if you do that, you need to install Windows 7 on your computer and then upgrade to Windows 10 when it becomes available. Purchasing a Windows 10 key from Microsoft lets you install the new OS directly, but again, the price is nearly 5 times higher.

In the end, Windows 10 seems to really be the Windows version that's available for everyone, either for free or at a very low cost, so you have no excuse if you prefer to stick to an old release and refuse the upgrade.
